Abstract:
This research falls within the scope of the research line Education, Institutions, and Educational Policies (L1-EIPE) of the Mais University Center - UniMais in Inhumas, Goiás, Brazil. It aims to understand how the female image is represented in the ENEM exams (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) through verbal and non-verbal language. To conduct this study, we draw on theoretical concepts related to the French Discourse Analysis theory by Michel Pêcheux, further developed in Brazil by Eni Orlandi and other scholars, as well as the contributions of philosopher and historian Michel Foucault. These theoretical and methodological frameworks serve as the foundation for the assumptions and approaches developed throughout this work.
